What is the ZO Skin Health Ossential Glow Peel?
ZO Skin Health Ossential Glow Peel is a brightening peel that uses patented products from ZO Skin Health. During the treatment a chemical solution is applied to the skin. The solution then works to provide a deep exfoliation and helps revive dull skin and brighten the skin complexion.
What areas can be treated with a chemical peel?
The most common area treated is the face; however this peel can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands and even the arms and legs.
What do Chemical Peels treat?
- Sun Damage
- Fine Lines
- Uneven Texture
- Large Pores
- Dull Skin
What can I expect during my visit?
1 week prior: Avoid any form of laser hair removal, electrolysis, waxing or use of depilatory creams.
3 to 4 days prior: Discontinue the use of topical retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, benzoyl peroxide, retinol and other potentially irritating products.
During the chemical peel, you may feel a stinging sensation but it will not cause an excessive amount of pain or discomfort. After the chemical peel, your skin will start to exfoliate but the peeling skin will not be noticeable.
How many treatments are required for best results?
The number of treatments depend on the client’s skin condition. However, this chemical peel is gentle enough to be repeated once a week.
What is the downtime?
There is no downtime. But it is still recommended to avoid sun exposure and apply sunscreen to protect your skin after the treatment.
